How can someone make you look so beautiful if she ain't a beauty herself? That's why when I saw Ms. Toni in a bridal fair, told myself..."hmmm...I'm pretty sure she's the right makeup artist for my big day!" And guess what? I was so damn right! She has this certain charisma that made me feel at ease, some chemistry that you and your make up artistmust have. 9AM just right on time she came with her HUUUGGGEEEE boxes of makeup kits (yeah, I love the one with bulbs on it, made me feel so artista! hahaha!) and let's not forget her cute foldable artista chair! hahahaha! I just had a short/simple description of the "look" that I want for my special day -Judy Ann on her Lactacyd commercial, sweet & fresh! and of course my special request to have a pink lippy on. :) and....VIOLA! she did exactly what I wanted! I felt soooo pretty that day. Ms. Toni even surpassed what I have expected. I am so happy that I made the right choice, for this is just a one time event in your life and you hafta look your best. I'm glad that we remained friends even after the wedding. I was so fond of her. Ms. Toni, words are not enough to express how you made me feel sooo special that day. My kudos for Toni:
- Basics: On time, efficient, complete setup (including that cute director’s chair)
- She didn’t mind that I was particular about how I wanted my makeup and hair to look. In fact, she welcomed it. She even brought a hairstylist that was an expert in the kind of do I wanted to achieve.
- She uses only the best quality products. Unless your skin is allergic to Chanel, Dior, Nars and MAC, you’ll enjoy the silky feeling and radiance that only luxury brands can bring. You won’t feel na tinipid ka.
- Very sensitive to the bride’s feelings – We brides can be emotional, stressed out, absent-minded, irritable even on the big day and I was no exception. Toni is very polite, considerate and professional- no wasting time, panicking or complaints. I forgot my loose powder at home and offered to buy Toni’s and she ended up giving hers to me. She even covered up my brother’s black eye (he happened to be the host).
- She makes you feel that she wants you to be the most beautiful woman on your special day. She understands vanity haha :) —she’ll take the time to cover every blemish, go through all the small details that are important to you and make you feel at ease.

thanks so much for everything. it is true that my confidence started to build up only when i saw the transformation of my look the time when you were doing my makeup. apart from the satisfying result, i am likewise grateful for your empathy and the reassurance that whatever worries me, i’d still be beautiful no matter what. it’s easy for somebody to say: “maganda ka pa rin” or “hinde naman halata yan” referring to the marks i’m most conscious of (the BEFORE pic says it all). but coming from you, honestly, it’s not pambobola na lang or a way of pacifying this overly anxious me on the most special day of my life. i felt the sincerity and the willingness to help as you very well understood the feeling of being a bride and also, because you’re so good at what you do, we’re just left dumbfounded at how “more beautiful” we turn out to be after the last stroke of your powder brush touches our cheeks. again, thank you for unloading a big lump in my chest that day and for this awesome blog that highlights your talents.
